Termite treatment, control and
preventative maintenance programs:
McDonald Pest Control offers alternative methods of
termite treatment, control and maintenance. Many believe
the only successful way to treat termites is by fumigation
otherwise known as tenting. Although we do not provide
fumigation treatment, we provide a very successful,
less evasive and less expensive treatment. We also
provide the renewal of your termite coverage for up
to but not limited to five years of service.

Subterranean Termite Control
This is a specifically designed program that treats
for live subterranean activity. A home diagnosed
with live activity will receive treatment for the
active area, treatment for all other identified
possible areas of infestation and finally a barrier
treatment for the entire property. There are two
methods to treat for subterranean termites.

Treatment by using a termicide
this is done by applying a termicide to the areas
of live activity, other areas of possibly infestation
and finally a radial treatment around the barrier
of the home.

Treatment by using Termite Advance
Bait Stations
this treatment uses a combination of termicide
application along with the installation of bait
stations that are installed throughout discreet
areas in the lawn. The customer will receive periodically
scheduled visits to monitor and re-bait the stations
as per signed agreement. By using these tabs you
will be able to determine any termite activity
starting before getting to your home. Treatment
by way of TABS (termite advance bait stations)
is the most popular of all our treatments producing
a 99.999 success ratio. McDonald Pest Control
highly recommends this course of treatment in
most cases.

Dry wood Termite Control and Treatment
This program provides treatment for Drywood Termites,
Wood Borers, Powder Post Beetles and other wood destroying
organisms. This treatment uses Borate to treat for
these insects by application. McDonald Pest Control
treats the structure using the specified ingredient.
The treatment does not include fumigation. This coverage
is good for one year of Drywood treatment and can
be renewed up to five years. Pre treatment services
- for new construction purposes, you may need a termite
pre treat and post treat for inspections purposes.
McDonald Pest Control provides these services as well.
Spot Treatments are also available for individuals
needed to spot treat a certain area in their home
or building.
